The ceremony is held at the Polytechnic Institute of the city and will be attended by the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and the President of IBM Portugal. 

It is important to stress that, Alexandre Madeira won the most important Portuguese scientific prize in Information Technology and Computer Science, with the project " Logic Hybridization: a generic approach to software reconfigurability".This project was the result of his doctoral thesis "Foundations and Techniques for Software reconfigurability" defended in July 2013 at the University of Minho.
